Dantech’s Flow Freezer is designed to avoid small products sticking together, such as shrimp, diced/minced meat, green peas and berries.
The Flow Freezer works by creating a “fluidized bed” using the vertical airflow principle, which helps keep products separated from each other, while maintaining a natural product appearance. This is especially beneficial for fruit products that have a high sugar content. The flow freezer uses different zones, divided by different air pressure and temperatures, one for crust freezing and the other for an equalized freeze. These zones combined with its unique airflow keeps the products moving to avoid sticking together and results in extremely quick freezing of the product’s surface and reduces dehydration while maximizing overall yield.
